Innovating the Experience

We work hard to provide fast and efficient services for our clients, and as part of that commitment we've embraced mobile technology. By using mobile devices our appraisers have eliminated the cumbersome paper and clipboard, meaning quicker and more reliable appraisals for you.

Data Gathering Tools

Gathering the data for an appraisal is an intensive process. We spend a great deal of time collecting the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends.

Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet collecting data using an app that allows us to sketch a floorplan right on the spot. And instead of using an old tape measure, we're seeing that more appraisers are utilizing laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.

Using this technology allows us to ensure that your report is reliable and complete. This works to both our advantages by requiring less time for call-backs and revisions. Our goal is to save you time and money.

Appraisal Report Delivery

Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. It's much more efficient than the old days when everything was on paper.

Lastly, we use all digital workfiles...

It would be much easier if appraisers could never have to think about an assignment again after writing and giving it to the client. However, appraisals are employed to show the condition of a property on the inspection date. Therefore, appraisers must keep their reports for 5 years, allowing them to recall any appraisal at any time to either defend the valuation or to be used in other legal proceedings.

Home Valuation Services of Arizona uses all the technology available to us to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we can pull up the entire file whenever it's needed and recall just what that assignment was about.

These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Investing in the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect, allows the appraiser to collect the appraisal data to finish the report faster and more accurately than previously possible.
